Terms

The short version.

We’ve tried to write this the way we’d want to read it: plainly, and short enough to actually finish. Revalidata is a product of Built AI, Inc., a U.S. corporation.

What Revalidata does

You give us a document — a lease, a mortgage, a policy, something like that. We read it, tell you what it says in plain English, and track the dates that matter so we can email you before they cost you money. Revalidata explains documents. It isn’t legal advice, and reading a Revalidata summary isn’t a substitute for a lawyer when the stakes call for one. Built AI is not a law firm, no one here is your attorney, and using Revalidata doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship.

Pricing

$1 once per contract, or $9 a month for up to 50 contracts a month, or $49 a month on the property-manager plan (5 people on the account and up to 1,000 contracts a month). No hidden costs — no add-on fees, no surprise charges beyond the price shown when you pay. You can see what we found in your document before you pay anything. Contracts you’ve already paid for stay yours — cancelling never takes away what you’ve bought.

The monthly plan renews by itself every month, at the same price, until you cancel, and we charge the card you gave Stripe each time. Cancel anytime in the app, in two clicks: the next charge stops and you keep the plan until the month you already paid for runs out. We don’t refund part-months. If a read was badly wrong, email us within 30 days and we’ll refund it — that offer is ours, and it doesn’t take away any refund right your state gives you.

Reminders are a help, not a guarantee

We send deadline emails on a best-effort basis. Email gets delayed, filtered and lost; services go down; a date we never found is a date we can never remind you about. The deadlines in your contracts stay yours to meet, and Revalidata is a second pair of eyes rather than the only one. Don’t rely on it as your only reminder for anything that would really hurt to miss.

Text-message reminders

If you ask for text reminders, Revalidata (a product of Built AI, Inc.) texts the mobile number you enter, and only that number, when a deadline in one of your contracts is approaching. You ask by ticking the consent box on the Reminders screen and replying YES to a confirmation text; no reminder is sent before that, and Revalidata sends no marketing texts. How many texts you get depends on your deadlines and the cadence you choose, typically up to one per step of the cadence for each deadline. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply; Revalidata does not charge for texts, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help, or email support@parad1gm.com. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying or using anything from Revalidata. See our Privacy Policy, and the details with a picture of the signup form at revalidata.com/sms-reminders.

Who can use Revalidata

You need to be 18 or older, and able to enter a contract. If you’re using Revalidata for a company, you’re telling us you’re allowed to agree to this on its behalf.

Your documents are yours

Uploading a document to Revalidata doesn’t give us any ownership over it. We process it to give you the service; see our privacy policy for exactly what that means. Only upload documents you have the right to share with us.

Accuracy

We aim to be right, and we show our work — every fact links back to the exact line in your document, and we tell you plainly when we’re not confident about something instead of guessing. Even so, Revalidata can make mistakes: it can miss a date, read one wrong, or misjudge what a clause means. Check anything important against your actual document, and get a lawyer involved for anything with serious consequences.

So, in the language lawyers ask for: Revalidata is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will find every deadline in a document. We may change or discontinue parts of Revalidata; if we retire something you paid for, we’ll tell you and refund what you paid for the part you can no longer use.

If something goes wrong

If Revalidata costs you money, the most we can owe you — for everything, added together, whatever the legal theory — is what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or $100 if that’s more. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost business or a missed deadline itself.

Some states don’t allow limits like these. Where that’s the case, ours apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything else that can’t be limited by law.

If you cause us a problem

If someone comes after us because of a document you uploaded that you had no right to share, or because you used Revalidata against these terms or the law, you’ll cover the resulting claims, damages and reasonable legal costs. We’ll tell you promptly if that happens and let you take the lead on defending it.

Using Revalidata fairly

Use Revalidata for your own documents, or ones you’re authorized to handle. Don’t try to break it, abuse it, or use it to process documents you don’t have the right to. We can suspend an account that does.

Ending things

You can close your account whenever you like. We’ll only close yours for real reasons — like abuse of the service — and we’ll tell you why.

Where disputes go

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in New York, which we both agree to. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protections of your home state’s law or your right to complain to a regulator. Talk to us first: most things are fixed by an email to support.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
